Decided to try the natural route. I stopped taking birth control earlier this year - I couldn't keep up with the noticeable personality changes. I'll admit my diet still isn't amazing and I still feel like I'm losing a handful of hair a day... but this is the third month in a row I've gotten my period on the same day! As much as I hate the cramping (literally feel like my ovaries are going thru a grinder right now), I feel good. I feel.. normal, and not broken for once.
