I am so sick and tired of having this along with insulin resistance. I was recently diagnosed with chronic endometritis and was placed on antibiotics after seeing my doctor when I hadn't had a period for over a year and she did a biopsy. She keeps pushing back dates to put me on something to help with my insulin resistance because I have been having GI issues and she doesn't want to make it worse by adding metformin.
So I started looking for alternatives to help me out because I am waking up every morning nauseous because of the insulin resistance. I have tried dozens of diets that don't work. I tried low carbs and it made me feel worse. So I switched to a whole foods vitamin and that really helped with my GI problems. I also looked into Inositol and decided to try it out. I was taking it for a week and was excited because I was finally starting to feel better, but then the cramps/pressure hit. I was SUPER excited and thought, OMG a period at last?! Then my back started hurting and I realized, nope.. UTI because for some reason my body hates me.
Was put on more antibiotics. Started feeling better after a few days and was like YAY! And now... with 2 days left of the antibiotics, back comes the cramps, pressure, fuzzy feeling in my lower back and twinges, along with a headache and constipation. Why does my body hate me? Why can't I just have a period of time feeling NORMAL before I get to play guess what is wrong with me now? I HATE this!
(Just to clarify, this isn't my normal side effects of a period, so I'm like 90% sure it isn't that and is something new... I have lab work coming up and a doc visit, so I will be bringing this up, but I just can't stand this merry-go-round)
