There needs to be more of an acknowledgement of how truly isolated this disease can make you feel.

Post Body
I was always a shy child, an ambivert who leaned more on the side of being an introvert. But I can safely say that since my diagnosis around 6 years ago, I've completely changed as a person due to the disease/limitations of my condition. Sharing a few of my thoughts below in the hope that some of you'll relate to it
- Being less social, maintaining a smaller social circle because you feel fatigued and can't keep up with the activities that come with having a lot of friends
- Limiting your social circle or finding it hard to make friends who understand you and your condition
- Something as simple as maintaining a routine/schedule, sleeping on time so that you keep your hormones in check. I've missed a lot of sleepovers and wild nights out to it. So I'm labelled not as fun as some others
- Limiting eating out/ordering in, not joining in on group meals because you have limitations for yourself which you don't want others to know
- Finding it hard to maintain friendships and all kinds of relationships because you find it had to believe that someone wants to be by your side/be your friend for you and not something you do for them (cause you believe your appearance, weight and physique makes you less likeable)
- Avoiding romantic relationships or forsaking the idea that any kind of romance/intimacy is possible for you because surely I don't deserve love, affection, pleasure and basic kindness considering I don't meet a majority's vision of beauty
