Hello,

I was diagnosed when i was 16 with PCOS. i was put on birth control and was on it for 7 years. My husband and i made the decision that i stop taking the birth control. I am looking for advise for fertility help and dealing with extremely painful periods both before and after the actually period. I dont really have anyone locally who i know has dealt with this and i am looking forward to having a community to be able to talk about the difficulties PCOS causes. it has been about 7 years since i have stopped taking Birth control and i have been having some of the worst periods i have every experienced. They are very irregular and can last anywhere from 5 days to 24 days. I feel completely drained of energy but i am not tired.
