So I have worked with a naturopath for a couple of years dealing with my PCOS. Recently I have been exploring going through my doctor for further intervention as my symptoms (basically every PCOS symptom in the book) donβt appear to be improving. Was hoping to maybe get metformin to help manage my weight a bit.... he insisted on an ultrasound (internal and wxternal) to view my ovaries. So I had this and..... there is NO inflammation and NO cysts.... This is great news, does anybody else have all symptoms of PCOS but no cystic ovaries? My doctor is convinced I DO NOT. Have PCOS at all and wants to explore a different route with an endocrinologist and see what they can come up with. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are based on their experience if they are in the same situation? edited
