Curious if anyone in here was put on metformin and then got pregnant? - if so did you keep taking it your whole pregnancy?? Why or why not??

I did keep taking it. I started having trouble managing my blood sugar and the doctor increased my dosage. After a while I was able to manage my blood sugar and my new dosage stayed the same and I didn’t have to start insulin. A lot of people prefer insulin over metformin because there’s less side effects. I did have a lot of side effects with metformin but I didn’t want to use insulin because I don’t like needles.
