I was diagnosed with PCOS last year after a major fight over the last 10 years to get a doctor to actually listen and test me for it. By the time I got diagnosed I was prediabetic. Thankfully, with my metformin, we have reversed that!
Beyond this, I started antidepressants three months ago to see if I could see any progress in my moods and motivations. I have felt a complete 180. I finally am putting myself first and making an effort for me. I started eating healthy, while also not restricting myself heavily due to a previous ED. I also started going to the gym regularly!!
Long story short, I feel incredibly proud because, as of this afternoon, I have lost almost 40 lbs in the last 3 months!! I have never been able to lose weight so this is an incredibly big milestone for me.
