So, I took a break from metformin and spiro for a bit (around 7 months) and have been trying to get back on them consistently to loose weight and regulate my periods. Last time I started to take them again around July, I started getting an eruption of cystic acne and whiteheads. Even when I was a teenager acne wasn't really such a big deal for me. So I stopped taking it After 3 to 4 weeks and the acne cleared up. I've been trying to take it again since the beginning of September and the same thing is happening. Is this just purging? Or due to my hormones? Should I just stick through it and maybe it will clear up?
