I (17 almost 18 ftm) got bloodwork done last year before starting testosterone because I was having health issues. They tested my testosterone and prolactin and insulin levels, told me they were normal and nothing to worry about. I had my yearly physical today and was talking to the doctor (whom I had never seen before) about this, so she checked and she was like, "Uhmmm, these (testosterone levels) are not normal for someone afab, prolactin levels are through the roof, and your insulin is high but not in the diabetic range and your a1c is normal." (she used different terminology but I was too tired to correct her on afab vs the phrasing "genetic female" which ik is problematic but she was generally good otherwise and even offered to refer me to a top surgeon!) So now I have to get bloodwork done again, because it might have something to do with my medication or it could be PCOS. So, we'll find out next week or the week after that, I'm getting the bloodwork done on Tuesday! I have to fast for it, though, which is fine, I can go a while without eating and be fine. But I'm just happy that I have someone actually listening to me! ☺️πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰
