So I posted a while ago asking for advice about the Copper IUD vs the Mirena Coil: https://www.reddit.com/r/PCOS/comments/10p46xv/advice_about_copper_iud_vs_mirena_coil/
So after several bad experiences with different contraceptives I reluctantly got the Mirena Coil.
It's now been 3.5 months and whilst with others I have had my period constantly or every other week, with the Mirena Coil I've not had a period for almost 6 weeks now. So this by far is the most success I've ever had with a contraceptive. I've only had a bit of spotting on 2 days since my period has stopped but I'm so pleased.
I've not noticed any of my other PCOS features change, like my hirsutism. But the periods were what bothered me the most and I wanted some form of contraceptive
So yeah I just wanted to share my actual good experience of the Mirena Coil incase it's of any use to anyone
