Need help building a PC

So I'm building my mother a computer for her birthday because her old laptop she uses is slowing down insanely and she does heavy demanding work on it ( she's an accountant). My only issue, I only have experience building gaming computers, and finding the sweet spot of 1080p gaming, I have no experience in budget workload computers that are meant for running programs and an insane amount of multitasking. Build recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
