Hello tabletop gamers,

My current PC just died in a campaign and I came up with an idea today that I'll have to cook up fast now.

I loved the Overlord games back in the day where you play as a Kmart version of Sauron with a small army of goblinoid creatures. Now I really like the idea of the Swarmkeeper ranger and I'm looking for ways to combine it with the Overlord theme. Not an evil character but a melee hero that uses some sort of item or artifact to control some sort of small horde.

However, would you allow a 'swarm' of goblins being used? Or are they too big as small creatures. Are there tiny versions of something like a goblin?

Also since Swarmkeeper allows things like gaseous form and a flying speed of 10, how would you solve that?

Also, what race would you choose as the 'overlord'
