Helping and Hindering NPCs?
Post Body

Hello, all. I'm working on a hack of my own of the PbtA system, using various resources (including Simple World) as the framework and guides.

One of the things I've seen mentioned here and there is Helping and Hindering. Doing this to PCs makes sense, as they make action rolls with numerical results and designed outcomes.

But when would you use Help or Hinder on an NPC? They don't make rolls. The impacts to them from PC actions (as well as their success in attempting to obstruct or harm PCs) are dependent on PC rolls, right?
