After playing a Monster of the Week one-shot and a short campaign of Root, I've been bitten by the TTRPG bug. I am also a bit of a science fiction nerd at heart, having grown up watching Star Trek and Dr. Who on television reading, reading the works of William Gibson and Ursula LeGuin, and watching movies like Jurassic Park and Blade Runner religiously.
Now, I'm looking sadly at the TTTPG schedule at my LGS, and it's all DnD and Pathfinder. Not that those can't be fun (I'll probably even play in one), but in terms of a campaign I could run and improvise the necessary charachters for, I know that Sci-Fi is my inevitable home. Any suggestions for PbtA systems (or offshoots thereof) to scratch this itch as I prep to run my first game?
