The title condenses the issue, I have read other similar questions here but came to no conclusion.
I'm into the final arc of our Masks campaign, (NEW AVALON CRUSADERS \m/ ) And everyone at the table has a desire to revisit the characters once they are fully realised heroes.
My only concern is that the setting is pretty much established and I don't want to have to bend another world too much. Let's just say that New Avalon is a city of Day and Night, of neon lit skyscrapers and kids drawing murals for a green future, gothic historical buildings and mystical forces in the dark. Think of it as MCU in the silver age, big disaster, Gotham in the bronze and now a solarpunk hope for the future.
Due to this I want a somewhat generic superhero system, which gives me cool archetypes and not a list of powers and techniques. I also think that pbta is a must, or it wouldn't feel like the same world to me.
I want Masks about struggles of adult heroes and larger-than-life threats.
Do you guys have something in mind? Have you 'gone forward' in time with your teen characters? How did it go?
