Just one day after our article on Blackfire's apparent absence from the server, it appears he has rejoined the PBC discord server as of today. I can confirm from an independent source that Blackfire has not been given back his previous role as server owner. An anonymous source also has informed us that there was a previous written agreement between Blackfire and current owner Prismic, that he would return server ownership to Blackfire, if he were to return. This agreement has yet to be honored, as Prismic still holds the ownership of the discord server. A startling event did occur soon after Blackfire's return, however. Entering the PBC Free Press Thread, he announced he wanted to shut down the prublication and replace the top editor with the Community Manager Jelly. It is likely this was simply an ill-placed joke, but we can assure you the PBC Free Press is not going anywhere of its own volition any time soon, and will remain uninfluenced by moderators. Additionally this may have given us a clue as to why Blackfire gave up server ownership in the first place. Blackfire was previously the only person who could grant the moderator role, and since he was near impossible to contact in the last month, Prismic reportedly had to go through a source to get to Blackfire so he could give Prismic server ownership so Prismic could then grant the newest PBC moderator their role. To prevent further catastrophes like this, moderators Kahn and Andy were reportedly given special roles above the moderator role so they could also grant users the role. Whatever is going on among server moderators clearly shows some level of miscommunication combined with low moderator activity, and may likely be partly the reason Blackfire has yet to be given back server ownership. In the meantime we stay alert for updates.
