Has anyone experienced frustration over delayed gastric emptying and how this throws ur insulin off during the day ?
using Lantus for basal humalog for my bolus. I’ve reduced the Lantus a bit and removed the pre bed Lantus dose but
working out in the morning ill eat 150 g carbs for example. Gatorade and other fast digesting snacks. I exosct it to hit me higher but I don’t over 130-135 (90-100 pre meal pre workout ). But then after the workout and when humalog is wearing off I’ll spike to 150 , like 2 hrs post food.
anyone find a way to hack this timing and dosing ?
