Okay, so as the title states, I have 1 to 2 non-cancerous brain tumors that are messing with my pituitary hormones. As a result, I am hungry literally every waking second of every day. Every time I eat, I eat voraciously, and it takes forever to get full, if at all. And I'm always hungry again in 30 minutes. I could be so stuffed that I'm miserable, and 30 minutes later, my brain wants me to eat again. It's not emotional eating or anything. I experience this regardless of my emotional state. My brain just constantly wants me to eat. It doesn't mean I do. It just means I struggle a lot. I hate my hormones so much!!

So about a year ago, I started on Ozempic. At .25 mg, it had no effect whatsoever. At .50 mg, it had no effect whatsoever. At 1 mg, I am just barely starting to get a hint of...feeling full? Could it be? It's pretty nice, honestly. That "food noise" is still there, and I'm not getting the amazing results you all are getting right now. In fact I gained like 4 pounds in a month recently, even with the Ozempic. I am still eating a lot (but I don't mean to). I am still always hungry. But I think I might be maybe experiencing the my first faintest hints of possibly....feeling full? I hope so. I haven't truly felt full in more than 30 years.

I know I'm increasing the dose pretty slowly, but I have a lot of other complicated health issues, including gastroparesis (I don't have diabetes), so I do need to be careful. I did up the dose too quickly once and I ended up in the ER.

So, I guess, in short, I've been pretty underwhelmed with my experience so far. It doesn't really feel like it's doing much of anything. And my insurance won't cover any of the other semiglutides.

I will continue with Ozempic, though, as I would probably be worse off without it. I also continue working on my brain tumor/hormone issue. I have told my endocrinologist that the Ozempic is barely working, and he hasn't done much except increase the dose.

Anyone else with similar issues?
