Stuck on preauthorization for Ozempic.

I was given the ok to start on ozempic by my doctor. They sent my prescription to my pharmacy and was told my insurance had to approve it. I saw my pharmacy called last night, I called this morning when they opened they told me my insurance company is requesting more information from my doctor and they sent this to my clinic earlier this week. I went through the health portal to get status on this and so far have not heard anything.
I am not used to waiting this long for a prescription.
