note: .1: Why didn't i find this sooner? this manga was an absolute masterpiece. everything, the story, the art, the paneling. all of it was on point.

note 1: Punpun is way too relatable. this isn't a bad thing. but any time i find myself relating to punpun, a part of me cries

note 2: This shit is a downward spiral. and i don't just mean punpun. everybody was in a spiral. hell, even THE TABLE OF CONTENTS went insane.

note 3: The story was awesome, and horrible. It was disgustingly tragic. whenever i though things might get better. they got worse. and not just a little. it just kept finding ways to hit me harder. and without any warning. the first time was when his mother was hospitalized. i had just assumed the dad was the bad guy. but boy was i wrong, he may be pathetic. but apparently pun-pun's mom is a "terrible" person

but after reading a few volumes. i thought that i was immune. but one is never immune. because at the point when i felt safest. punpun gets sexually assaulted by the absolute last person i would have expected to do that.

and from there it was like "what the FUCK, how can a story be this tragic" i NEVER knew what was going to happen next.

Overall: this story is amazing 20/10. i loved it. it's probably one of the best stories i've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
