Am I imagining that sometimes clicking my mouse isn't enough?

I can't be the only person this ever happens to.

My mouse works. No other game or software exhibits this issue. In ONI, when I click my mouse, I can hear the game register the click.

But sometimes it just doesn't.... "register." Flipping a toggle switch. Saving or loading in the system menus. Entering the printer pod. Exiting the printer pod.

Sometimes it's merely "occasional," but today it's real bad. Sometimes I'd have to click something more than 5 or 6 times, and again, the game audibly recognizes each click except for the fact that the click doesn't "do" anything.
