While watching episode 3 of seaon 2, we got more questions than answers. And while we know now King was never the King of demons, we don't know who his father was.

I want to take a stupid direction about this, and to offer a possibility based on a random sentence Lilith is saying in this episode: "Historically demons have never been united under a single ruler until Belos."

What if she isn't wrong? What if King is Belos's son?

• The guard of the Palace was very similar to the flesh magic of Belos
• As Belos is using a mechanical staff, there are a lot of theories he isn't a witch. What if Belos is a Demon?
• There is no way such a big secret would stay hidden from Belos... Unless Belos wants this island to stay a secret.
• The two horns, bone mask look... Maybe the potions Belos is taking are meant to keep his mind and shape as he is now?

Again, a very stupid idea - but there is a huge secret here. And it's going to relate to the Titan, Belos, The day of unity, the portal and the rest of the mysteries.

The other option - King's dead fought (and lost) to Belos, as we can see him fighting something in the picture luz is holding at the very end.
