Probably woerd seeing a tank trying to improve but I love playing tank even though it's a 50/50 whether you are actually useful or just a bullet sponge.
I know a decent amount of when to use the abilities where to stand depending on the map and the tank I'm playing but sometimes I just feel useless. Some examples include me making space for my team and even getting 1-2 elims and with all that Mt team just can't seem to finish of the last 3 other times I feel useless when I get flamed for doing nothing yet when I want to counter their team the enemy tank counters me or when I counter their tank their team counters me, prime example of this was I had a supposed masters1 tank playing dps in silver 1 and the person flamed me for being useless and not picking the right tanks mind you the first half their team was sym Pharrah rein Ana and either kiri or brig I swapped out to ram in the end holding them for 2 minutes but eventually lost the point (my team was ram Moira ashe junkrat who swapped soldier in the last half minute or so and then either a mercy or an Ana) I want to k own what I could have done there to be better it was last point numbani on defence their cart was - 30m away from last point
I feel I was out of options because if I countered their tank played ram orisa or mauga (correct me if there is any other tank that hard counters rein) the dps and support would have bodied me Ana countering mauga and Pharrah and sym countering orisa had I swapped to say monkey dva or even sigma (mostly for pharrah as she was a supposed masters level player in silver) the rein Ana and sym depending on who I swapped to would have slammed me monkey being slept an anti'd Dva and sigma being sym'd and rein'd through grab and defencematrix or my backline being left vulnerable when I dive even if I went for the pharrah or sym or supports
Can I get advice to what I did wrong (ps I stayed ram and only went ball to try and get to overtime by swinging on the point
