Definitely a tip that I thought was widely known but is not.
Even if the person making plans and target calling isn't doing what you think to be completely optimal, it's much, MUCH better for 5 people to all do the wrong thing together, than 5 people to individually do what they think to be the best option.
Ever had a game where your team is getting stomped by the enemy even though the enemy keeps doing stupid things that they should be getting punished for? Chances are it's because they are doing said "stupid thing" as a team and your team is doing 5 separate things.
If you can't use a mic for whatever reason, or maybe you just don't want to use a mic, and you purposely aren't doing what someone who IS using a mic is calling out, I'd go so far as to say this is intentionally soft throwing.
