So I'm relatively new to the community and starting playing last year as of a good friends recommendation. Loved it on PS5 and when I switched over to PC I loved it even more so.

Now when I heard about the account merging I thought, "Finally! I get to have all my skins and progress back from my playstation account!"

But with the recent news that certain heros are locked behind a battle pass, free or not, I find incredibly irritating.

Let me get this straight. The devs are basically saying yeah cool you main Ana? Well shes locked until teir 55 or something. Which basically means all the skins and customization I have for her is just gone until I unlock her in the pass. How is that fair? How does that reward OW fans that stuck with the game?

I can see this being even more annoying for people who've played significantly longer than me and have pretty much everything.

I'm just confused on how they thought this was a good idea. Am I understanding it wrong? Is it only going to be the new heros that are unlockable in the battle pass? All the OW1 heros are free from the start right? They have to be right?

If not, I find this as an absolute disgrace to fans of the game and I take it as a huge F U to anyone who played OW1.

And this isnt even including how much it affects team comp and the meta. Can someone please confirm or deny my worries??
