Odd FPS drops

So I've noticed two things. In the LFG menu, scrolling through it will cause you to lose FPS depending on fast you scroll through and especially if you do it repeatedly. Secondly, in game, when looking through the TAB menu, if you hold it, for me at least, I lose around 20 FPS for seemingly no reason. Why? Is anyone else experiencing this?
