Did the patch affect anyone else's settings?

My brother launched the game after the patch and found the field of view reduced by like 30 points in the settings. His sensitivity had been turned up all the way into the 30's, reverse controls had been enabled, and it defaulted to windowed mode.
Has anyone else encountered this?
