Has there been any talk of Symmetra left click ability?

I don't mind the range change when they did it. It's the damage that ramps up too quickly that I have an issue with though. Just being able to melt a tank in no time at all, after killing 2 or so other people prior, is a little ridiculous. Almost Mcree on release of the game bad. Can they not have the 7.5/15/30 damage take a slightly longer period to gain damage? Would like some more thoughts on a change with her left click.
