I've been playing OW for a few weeks now and I'm proud to say I'm hooked. As of the last few days, the utopia I saw this game as is starting to be clouded. I used to play CS:GO, a game that is beyond the point of return when it comes to the toxic community. I'm talking about the people acting like they're legitimately mentally disabled (not an insult either, literally babbling and mocking people like a 9 year old does) who think they're being "funny." I get that they're there to try to piss other people off, but when you can't play a single game without one of these asshats in there, the game goes from being fun to being extremely stressful. When I found Overwatch, I was surprised by the lack of toxic players. With a few hundred games under my belt, I only encountered a handful of these toxic players. The last two or three days changed all of that. About half of the games I get in, I'll look in the chat to see someone saying something like "Your turret is hacking, I'm reporting you." and then spamming "REPORTED" in the chat, or even worse, teammates Mic-spamming with them screaming bloody murder when they die. This is absolutely terrifying for someone like me who actually wants to have fun in a game. I don't want this game to devolve into yet another "toxic community" stereotype. The biggest thing that can hinder growth in a game like Overwatch is a horrible community. Obviously, I think everyone on reddit wants to see this game succeed. No doubt it would be impractical to ban every single slightly toxic player, but the fact I can't report someone in-game for griefing or trolling is kind of sad. It's great to joke around, but when you get so bad that you completely ruin the game for your teammates or even opponents, that's not a joke. That's a serious problem that needs to be dealt with accordingly. Sorry for the wall of text, just something I need to get off my chest.

TL;DR: Something needs to be done to the trolls and griefers before this game joins all the other games ruined by a toxic community.
