Will Blizzard let us reconnect right away like in their other games?

Diablo 3 lets you reconnect through the game exe that's already open.
I'm like 80% sure HoTS also lets you do that.
But when you try to reconnect to Overwatch after getting disconnected you have to restart the entire game.
This is a big problem because I end up getting disconnected quite often.
