When is the right time to pick widowmaker on offense?

I feel like widow is a pretty bad pick on offense, but I sometimes in my games I feel like widow would be a good pick for the situation but my teammates tell me no. I play widow pretty much exclusively on defense. Any opinions? Should I just never play her on offense or is there certain situations and maps where she is good on offense?
