As a TF2 Pyro Main, who will I feel the most at home with?
Post Body

First of all, sorry if this post is out of line. I didn't see anything about this in the rules but I totally get it if y'all don't like it. Anyways, on to what I have to say.

I have over 500 hours in TF2 right now and I think about half of them have been spent playing the Pyro. I, of course, use the standard loadout-Degreaser for faster weapon switch, Flare Gun* to harass snipers from a long distance and apply extra damage to enemies I've already burnt, and the powerjack for increased mobility.

*(I actually use the Detonator but it's pretty much the same lol)

Now Overwatch is getting all this attention and it looks great. But while I've seen obvious comparisons for certain TF2 Classes to Overwatch Heroes (Medic and Mercy, Widowmaker and Sniper, Tjborn and Engineer, etc.) the Pyro seems less clear to me. I think Mei is the most like how I play in TF2, with first applying one effect and following up with a secondary projectile (Afterburn Flare for Pyro, Freeze Icicle on Mei) but I was not a part of the Closed Beta and likely won't have much time to play the Open Beta due to state testing in school, so I have zero first hand experience.

What I want to know is am I right in thinking Mei would be a good match? I mean, obviously, it's impossible to fully tell me "yep you'll be good at whatever hero" but as a general ballpark guess based off the average Pyro, would it be similar?
