Post Body

I’ve never experienced a gaming community that is so full of triggered cry-babies. Is this normal in FTP games?

It seems like there are 30 posts a day here complaining that they’ve been unfairly treated by comp, that they hate blizzard, that blizzard hates them, that the mini events are bad, and on and on and on.

When Lifeweaver dropped it was non stop whining about how much he sucked, and now that Illari is dropping its non stop whining about how she’s too OP’ed.

When they give away stuff for free, people complain that it’s not good enough (the 1,500 free battle pass coin, older skins, etc) yet when they offer cosmetics to purchase, people whine about being taken advantage of.

I truly don’t understand it. Nobody is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to play the new game modes, buy the battle pass, or even equip any of the free cosmetics. The game is 100% playable, without ads, for free.

Am I not understanding something? I don’t think Blizzard owes us, as players of the free game they’ve developed, a single thing. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for them to want to turn a profit.

And yes, I know some of you paid for OW1.

TLDR; I don’t understand why this player base despises blizzard so much for trying to turn a profit.
