Need some ideas how to play this off.

My group fought the medusa last night. 2 of the party of 5 were petrified before the fight ended.

I've done a bit of research and from what I find there are only a select few ways to undo petrification.

  1. Greater Restoration: This spell can cure petrification as long as it has been less than 200 years since the target was petrified.

  2. Wish: This powerful spell can undo almost any effect, including petrification.

  3. A Deity: Certain deities are capable of curing petrification through divine intervention.

Are there any other ways to do it via RAW?

I know basilisk blood says it can be used potentially in the lore but they already killed the 2 in entemochs boon.

They haven't run into nanny Plunkett so was thinking this might be a great chance to send them to her to see if she can brew up something for them, for a cost of course.

I also have Orcus hot on their trail as they have a piece of his wand (they don't know that yet they just think it's a cursed rod of resurrection) maybe I could do something with that?

They also just barely met the society of brilliance (grazzilax) maybe they could message him and see if he can help?

Our should I just say, tough luck, make new characters?

Any other ideas would be appreciated.
