This series has been incredible so far. Lush filming, lots of hair, great acting, lots and lots of hair, and the script/dialogue is phenomenal. And I love the interplay of history and time and whatnot.
Okay, so here's where I am: Jamie & Claire are back together. It has the sense of an ending. (yeah, Jamie u should have told Claire sooner, she would have understood, lol)
And now, Ian has been taken by a press gang on that island where the treasure was to pay for his 2nd wife's "alimony"
My sense is that this is going to veer into endless twists and turns almost soapy-opera-ishly. That it will feed on itself and not really go anywhere. I'm sure there will be lots and lots of hair and bursting bodices and whatnot.
But -- mark me -- is it really worth watching from here onwards? I'm sure I'll get addicted to it either way. But time is a precious asset.
