I love these characters but Im confused. How can these two be so intimate and physical and still be confused about how they feel about each other? Why would Diana write like that?. Im autistic, neurodivergent, so maybe i just think differently but Is it a normal experience in general or maybe for this time period, to just casually be that intimate prior to a formal relationship and still not be sure of your feelings for the person you're being that intimate with? I get that this time period was different from 2024 sensibilities but maybe Diana was writing from a common female experience. Kissing on the lips so casually, nowadays, might end up with sexual assault charges.
Im rereading the books so I do know what happens and I like their dynamic but umm, this part is always confusing for me.
