So I used to love this show. Couldn't wait to see how the girls grew up into young ladies. Will still keep an eye out every few years or so. Definitely want to know how Parker, Riley and Hazel, especially, age up.
However.... these few observations have irritated me during the last season (I just finished it), to the point I've lost interest in D & A's constant attention seeking. (Don't get me started on those bloody handstands)
D & A make situations way worse for the girls so I can only imagine its to play it up for the cameras. For eg:
- Talking about sharks in front of Blayke
- Bringing the snake to everyone's attention
- Making a huge deal to Parker about riding the horse and continuously bringing it up to her instead of just going with the flow.
- If you're feeling sick... go to the f....king doctor!
And number 5
Has none of them actually thought of bringing the whole brood to the eye doctor and letting Hazel interact with her sisters in the waiting room to let the doc see what's going on OR videoing what's going on at home/school?
Instead of once again making a big deal about it and continuously asking Hazel if she will talk to Dr Megan.
WTAF is wrong with these people that a they can't use their heads in dealing with these situations. Some thought into their interactions would go a long way in helping put their kids at ease.
Am I wrong?
