What is VIDMAG on YouTube, and where did it come from?

I just found that I'm subscribed to a YouTube channel called VIDMAG. It has almost 400,000 subscribers but no videos or description. I do not remember subscribing to that. I guess a channel that I had been subscribed to renamed itself and deleted all of its content. Can someone tell where it came from and which popular channel shut itself down recently? Seems like it was late in May that the change happened.
