I can say, without a doubt, that the most proud and hopeful time of my life was being a part of the Sanders movement. When we hit our stride during the primaries, I believed in the success of my nation more than anything. I believed that we were going to clean house, to take back our government and return the power to the people. With everything in the news today, and the ongoing monstrosity of the Trump administration it is so easy to give up hope. It is so easy to block out the events we are seeing. It is so easy to expect others to call out Republican trespasses, but it is still us. It is still Bernie and his movement that is fighting every day to get us back on track to be the proud nation we once were. We can still do this. Follow Bernie and other representatives that you can trust, participate in the movement at every level you can, and stay vigilant.
