I'm lagging really bad

I'm not sure if it's because I'm generating too much now, but the game is almost unplayable for me now. Switching windows takes a bit longer than usual, and I have difficulty reallocating makers.
I also notice that when I have the game open, my CPU usage jumps from 7% to 26% on Firefox. Might be something that needs looking into. I have a fairly beefy CPU, too.
