He's a 6'2" 198lb right shot defenseman in his 3rd year at UMass with 90 pts in 100 games after being selected 40th overall by Carolina in 2021. Corey Pronman mentioned him and Jackson Blake as being possibly available if Carolina feels they may lose them:
"The Hurricanes have a unique problem: They don’t have an AHL team currently. A lot of their signed prospects have been scattered this season between the ECHL, various AHL teams and Europe. So if you’re a strong collegiate prospect who has the option to stay in school versus entering the unknown, I don’t blame the prospect for picking the former. As Morrow and Blake, both talented players, finish up their junior and sophomore years, respectively, NHL teams wonder if they could be available before Carolina has to worry about them walking as seniors."
Do you guys think the Sens should try to acquire him if he's available either at the deadline or in exchange for a draft pick?
