Sleeping and Hip OA

I have severe OA in both hips, and I am having a heck of a time staying asleep at night. It’s horrible aching or the damned left hip gets stuck (which is a special type of hell). Meds are out of the question because of heart issues in the family. Anyone found some decent sleeping aids to deal with the aching?
