Hi there! I'm a 25 year old single girl looking to sign a lease ASAP in Oshawa. I've recently looked at an apartment I really liked on Taunton Road West near Mary Street - I know it's near the Nonquon apartments which I've seen people warn about on here, but what about this area is sketch? Is it just certain apartments, or the whole area? As I'll be living alone, I want to make sure the area is safe. It's also super close to my new job, and the short commute would be really nice, plus it's in my budget (on another note, holy shit Oshawa apartments are expensive!)

Any thoughts? I've never lived in Oshawa before, so I really have no idea and would appreciate the help!
