As the title states, I had an injection in my right elbow yesterday. I have had several injections in the past in my knees, hip, neck, and L-spine so I didn’t think much of it. It was certainly uncomfortable going in and was expecting extra/increased soreness for a couple days. However, now over 24 hours later, my pain is severe and I can only keep my arm at a 90 degree angle for it to be tolerable. The pain radiates down my arm into my fingers. I have been icing non stop and taking ibu and acetaminophen every 4-6 hours. Is this expected post injection? I wouldn’t personally classify this as soreness but maybe my doctor is just a tough SOB.
