Catechumen Process across Different Branches
Post Body

Hello, I currently am an inquirer at a ROCOR parish, but for different reasons I am considering attending a different parish. In my area there is a ROCOR, OCA, and Greek parish.

Is the catechumen process individual to each parish? Individual to the different sects/diocese? Or are they all the same across orthodoxy in general?

Further, if I was to go through to process at ROCOR and then changed parishes, would I be easily accepted, or would they want me to go through their own processes? Let’s say this new parish was OCA?

Thanks for input.
