Idk if people know this but women struggle with lust too.
Everytime I hear people talking about the topic, itās always geared towards men. Iāve read books on the topic as well and itās usually for men and if Iām lucky Iāll get a small subsection with a quick disclaimer that women lust too.
I know I can apply advice for men to myself. But itād be nice to see other women struggling.
I see a lot of priests talking about. But where are the nuns talking about it? Iām sure they struggle too.
I think women deal with and struggle with lust in certain ways that men donāt. Women may have different reasons for falling into the sin.
I see groups of orthodox men getting together online, seeing YouTube videos of men sitting together and just talking about that struggle.
But I never see women doing it. Maybe itās a societal thing? Almost like the āwomen donāt fartā trope. Women will go out of their way to make sure their bf or date doesnāt know they go through basic human bodily functions.
Idk. Itād just be nice to see other women talking about in depth.
And saying āoh St Mary of Egyptāā¦I get it. But thatās not the same.
