Attending an Orthodox Church for the first time
Post Body

Hello everyone! My wife and I are Protestant Christians and are seeking to attend this Sunday’s Divine Liturgy at our local Orthodox Church. We are interested in seeking to learn more about the orthodox perspective of Christian faith, and was wondering if y’all could help me prepare for what we should expect from the Divine Liturgy service. Should we show up a few minutes before the service? How long does the service usually last? Anything that a Protestant Christian should know that has never attended an Orthodox Church would be much appreciated!

The beauty of the Orthodox faith has drawn our spiritual attention, so any information would be greatly helpful.

Blessings.
