The clear midday sky gazed down as Alexandra stepped forward. As the unkempt grass attempted to tickle her skin, her focus was kept solely on one thing. She walked forward until she was in the middle of the open field. Nothing and no one around to interrupt her. Perfect.

After a polite yet emotionless bow, Alexandra began tying the blindfold around her head. Her sight would only cloud her judgement, she reasoned. Learning instinct and intuition in a scenario such as this was something she couldn't learn on her own. With a slow unsheathing of her sabre, she let out a small sigh.

"...thank you for coming. Have we any housekeeping matters to attend to before we begin?"

(Hey! Honestly I'm just kinda doing this to practice writing fights. So I'd prefer OCs that are normal human-level or at least nerfed to that level. Alexandra is indeed only a regular, athletic person. It can be to the death or to yield, it's up to you. Just keep basic etiquette in mind and keep in mind this is my first combat rp, so uhhhh be patient please lol)
