Ninety-percent of the spam we see could easily be avoided by you if you do one simple task:

Check their history

• If they post in other states, they are spam. (See 1, below)

• If they post all over reddit, they are spam. (See 2, below)

• If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. (See 3, below)

This is a swinger subreddit and we work diligently behind the scenes to keep it on-topic for your benefit. Removing spam keeps us three volunteers pretty busy and it does get a little frustrating at times. Especially when we see the same users replying and supporting these spammers. Dudes!, trust me, nothing you do or say to a spammer is going to make them want to travel across the country to fuck you, let alone meet you. About the only way that would ever happen is if a Genie grew out of a bottle and granted you a wish. And how bummed would you be to find out that the person on the other end of the keyboard that showed up was some fat, hairy, unbathed dude or the content creator's pimp?

Please, when you run across a post that you believe could even be spam, report it and ignore it.

1) We get a lot of spammers that come from putting in <state>Swingers, e.g. OregonSwingers, ArizonaSwingers, CaliforniaSwingers, etc. Unfortunately, the previous mod created about thirty subreddits and did not mod any of them, as such, these became favorite places for spammers.

2) Another tell-tale sign is that they post all over in many subs. This is the MO of Onlyfan creators. One picture, thirty subreddits in ten minutes. Obviously, they don't care about Oregon, Swingers, or anything other than getting your attention so you will hopefully subscribe. If you want to support them, great, but find them through other, appropriate subreddits.

3) Let's face it, if you somehow missed 1), or 2) or possibly the spammer is either using a new account or even smart maybe, the last red flag for you should be a "is this too good to be true?" moment.
