Post Body

Just wanted to let you all know that we're here and trying to help y'all.

(ETA: new rules about account age and karma at the bottom)

First things first, we hear ya. There's been a lot of reporting of posts and these usually get pulled for us to review again. We can usually get these back up in the hour but we're only volunteers and have personal lives. These report trolls usually go away after the next shiny thing comes along so who knows it'll go on for. So if you see your post or another then you don't, hang tight.

Next up is that Reddit is FINALLY doing something about ban evasions and people that create new accounts daily. If you're creating a new account all the time, stop. This is why your comments aren't showing up and we're not going to help you. We don't mind alt accounts, look, we get it and we've got ours, but this creating new accounts all the time then complaining to us because you keep getting blocked by Reddit is bonkers. Just stop creating and deleting accounts. We're not going to help you there.

See Spam, Report Spam. Simple as that. You report it, it gets removed, we ban them and report their account to Reddit so they can deal with it. We stop a ton but it's inevitable that it slips past us occasionally. Here's another thing, if you see spam in another subreddit, report that shit too. As you may have noticed, there are some other subs that are just filled with spam and if you report that shit, Reddit will shut down that sub. It matters to us because if these places cease to exist, the spammers will eventually find elsewhere to go. Look at those other subs, find a spammer, and look at that spammer's post history and you'll see what I'm talking about.

MF4M Posts are allowed. Not only are they allowed, but encouraged. Stop reporting them. Look, we know not all of you want to see pussy and tits and that this is a Men Gone Wild sub but, this isn't a sub just for M4M. There are lots of dudes here looking for couples too. Dudes can't post in OregonSwingers or OregonGoneWild (and we all know why) so let the couples come here to find them. Quit reporting them too. Don't like it? It's like one a week, maybe, and all you got to do is block the user and or filter by something other MF4M and you'll never see them again.

That's all folks! Hope you all have a fucking fantastic day!

ETA: Account age and karma

So all of the above still stands but we've added another check for account age and COMMENT karma. So the first, account age is to hopefully get the right people to treat this more like a community and less like craigslist or doublelist. That will hopefully reduce the flakes (that some of you seem to think we're responsible for). The COMMENT karma goes back to spam but also to tackle the flakes. Note that we're talking about COMMENT karma, not POST karma. Spammers will have good POST karma but rarely anything about 1 in comment karma. Also, flakes aren't on here interacting with others so if they have comment karma, they're already less likely to be flakes. We also have an issue with users creating accounts and then deleting them for some reason. We know some are ban evasions and Reddit has been removing and suspending them, but we also have a lot of users creating and deleting their accounts.

All of this is to make this a subreddit as free from spammers and flakes that it possible can be. We hope that you all realize this and appreciate it.
